Fishing Charter Checklist
☑ VALID fishing license for anyone 17 and older
We have run into a few times where people forgot or didn't realize they had to have one. This takes up fishing time, so be sure to have it before you come to the dock.
☑ Motion Sickness Preventative
Please consult with your doctor about any seasickness/motion sickness medicine, even if you have never experienced seasickness before. If you are a person who does experience seasickness, there are over-the-counter medications that work, but please consult your medical doctor to be sure you get the right one for you.
☑ Daily Medication
Please bring any daily prescriptions you will need for the day. We suggest a waterproof bag or bottle to keep them in. We would also suggest bringing extra medication just in case of a dropped pill, inclement weather or mechanical failures which may cause delays in our return time.
☑ Small cooler
Please bring a cooler that has been filled with ice, and keep it in your vehicle, to keep your catch cold on the way home.
☑ Food and Beverages
No glass containers. Please bring snacks or lunch items with a bag-type cooler. We suggest things like sandwiches, crackers, or cold fried chicken, some fruit (no red or staining fruit like strawberries, blueberries, blackberries or oranges, they leave stains on the boat white surfaces). You want something quick and easy so you can go back to fishing!
☑ Sun protection
Sunblock, polarized sunglasses, hat, cooling towel or bandana, neck gaiter, lip balm, long sleeve fishing shirts (light weight shirts), hand towels, rain gear.
☑ Non-Slip Shoes
Please wear non-marking sole shoes/sandals. Water-type shoes are the best to wear.
☑ Camera
Be sure to bring a camera, Go Pro, or phone! Make sure it is fully charged, so you can get those memory shots!
☑ Cash
Cash on-hand ensures that you can tip the deckhand for cleaning, bagging your fish, and assisting you throughout your trip.
